Keep a box of hankies with you throughout
Loved this book as much or even more than the two in the series that preceded it. Tears of laughter and sadness from beginning to end. My only criticism as a pug owner is the depiction of the Dean Martin. Pugs are incapable of biting anyone in the ankle because of the shape of their faces. And no self respecting pug has ever been known to refuse food from anyone unless at death’s door.
Yay
I was so happy to see a third book in the series and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the plot.
Good
A pleasant light read, with light touches of humour. You are also able to listen without reading or listening to previous books, and still understand it, without being completely out of context. The narrator does a great job of expressing feelings, and has perfect comic timing. The accents are also quite accurate. Overall a good listen.
