Oh dear - this is torture
The narration is really poor. I don't think I can listen to 50 hours of this, particularly the dialogue between the characters, the strange pauses, and the attempted French accents!
It sounds like it's being read by a machine. Ruins the language and makes the story pretty much impossible to follow.
The count of Monte Cristo
A fantastic story ruined by very poor narration. I now know why it was so cheap!
Am determined to listen till the end.
