Customer Reviews
Slow start but great ending!
I really liked this book; the start was slow and I wondered if it would grow legs at all, but then it did and ran at top speed!
Heart wrenching
Out of this world, best most compelling book I’ve ever listened to
Extraordinary
I have listened to a few Lisa Jewell books now and I love how clever the storylines are and the depth to the characters, and I must admit I didn’t think this would be as good as her other stories but actually it is the best I have listened to yet. It took me on a complete roller coaster of emotions listening to each character and feeling the build up and the fear, even feeling the greasy madness of one of them and even reduced me to tears at points, by the end I was sobbing. Absolutely love this story and it was read so well, the actor was perfect using emotions and voices that made me conjure up the image of each in my mind.
