New York (AirGuide - Airline News North America) Aug 8, 2010 TSA responds to controversy over stored AIT images. A privacy group continues to generate major coverage with its revelation the U.S. Marshals Service stored thousands of images captured on a full-body scanner at a Florida courthouse. But the Transportation Security Administration's "Blogger Bob" responded with a post pointing out the courthouse checkpoint is not run by the TSA and that the Marshals Service operates under the rules of the Justice Department, not the Department of Homeland Security. "As we've stated from the beginning, TSA has not, will not and the machines cannot store images of passengers at airports," he writes. Aug 6, 2010
