Don't expect it to be chirpy
This book was a page turner but I wouldn't say I loved it. The story is quite long and convoluted and to be honest I felt quite sad for Lexi at the end. She wasn't really asking that much of Jack yet everything just kept going wrong. Every time I thought it was going to be OK something else happens and after a while it does get tedious and by the end of it I'm heartbroken for all that has happened. It wasn't meant to be but it was unfair of Jack to draw it out so much. I felt quite exhausted after reading this. Although I'm curious as to what happens I'm not sure I could get through a couple more of these books because I feel quite drained!
