Annoying
Way too fast faced- things develop too quickly in a way that makes the reader unable to invest in the characters. The time between meeting, sleeping together and oopsy here comes baby is just annoying. "I tried so hard to resist her" (paraphrasing) PLEASE HE DIDN'T EVEN LAST THE DAY!!!!
Joanna is annoying af and if her brother is aware of what causes her issues THEN WHY DOESN'T he just tell her??!
Anderson is likeable but again, the pace makes the feelings between the characters seem too forced and the progression of their relationship isn't believable. The same could be said for the friendship with libby.
The abusive ex-relationship background of this story could make it great but it's never explained in enough detail and is resolved far too quickly.
This book is annoying in how it could be great but rushes to its conclusion so fast that it doesn't let the reader enjoy the journey. The pace creates irritation rather than anticipation and I found myself skipping pages just to reach an ending
