Definitely one of my favourite books! This book had me hooked from the first chapter. So many twists and turns, it kept me guessing and brought out so many emotions till the very end. Just when you think its over... theres more! This was a fantastic read!

This book was an amazing read. I loved every page I read. I would definitely recommend this. It had me totally hooked! Lina and Damian were wonderful characters with so much chemistry between them. This was my first book by this author and I’m already to read more. Thank you Charmaine Pauls for a fantastic reading experience.

OMG what can I say about this magnificent book by the inimitable Charmaine Paul’s? There are more secrets, lies and betrayal than you can shake a stick at in this amazing dark, heartbreaking, tragic story of the broken Angelina-Lina Dalton Clarke! I just could not put this gripping, fast paced tale down! A beautiful storyline that drags you along kicking and screaming for someone to listen to Lina from the outset of this tragic story! Damian Hart only has a 6 year vengeful lust and thirst for justice against the Dalton-Clarke family. All Lina has had is a life of hate, torture and cruelty from her father and husband, she was just a walking bank roll to everyone she ever met! Will the Dalton Empire fall now that Damien’s thirst for vengeance has arrived? Will Lina always be unreachable to any man? Can Damien unravel her dark secrets and peel back the many layers to Lina? Is Hart Diamond’s worth the lives broken and taken? Lina’s scars make her a very brave, proud woman but will anyone ever believe anything she says and will her scars continue to define her?
