Great read
Conflicting emotions tussle throughout this read. Lei seems to have a death wish of sorts and intent to deny herself happiness but throughout she’s the most determined detective with courage and so much more. What a tale.

Another great book from Toby Neal just love her characters a bittersweet romance and a strong story about slave trade of innocent young people wanting a better life.
