Bravo foxtrot

This series of books are amongst the funniest I have ever read. It shows life as a copper warts and all read the first one at your peril because you then just have to read the rest of them. These are rib achingly laugh out loud books that will have you in tears

An incredible story-teller

Thus far I have read three out of the four available instalments from Charlie Owen and his ability to relay the harsh reality of policing is both insightful as well as gripping.

As a current serving officer who grew up as a child in the seventies and eighties, I recall with fond memories my experiences of the police who always seemed to go the extra mile, whether that be to give a young child a lift on the back of a police motorbike during the Notting Hill Carnival and make their day or to tuck up some well deserving crook who made life hell for the majority of good people. It was these experiences that shaped my view on policing and steered me into a career in which I try daily to make a difference. Thanks Charlie.
