Love Love Love, an excellent short read
I loved Broken Surrender, though this book does deal with the emotional issues surrounding reintegrating into civilian life after coming home from war, it has a humorous side which makes for a good contrast. In parts it had me in tears one moment and laughing the next. The characters are believable and lovable and the plot and its nods to PTSD works well. I will be looking forward to reading more of Lori’s work as it’s clear she puts a lot of herself into her writing and it shows and pays off with such an enjoyable read. My only criticism is that I didn’t want it to end, I want to know what happens next. Will be recommending to my friends and book groups.
