Brother Hermitage, the Shorts

In the world of the medieval investigative monk there are examples of brilliance, of forward thinking and of insight.

Then there is Brother Hermitage.

From the manuscripts currently available it seems he was the precursor of the popular medieval detective about whom so much is written.

He though was neither popular nor much of an detective. He was very medieval.

These short expositions on some of his experiences only go to show why other names have made it to modern times.
