Publisher Description
One night. No consequences.
I should have known it wouldn’t be that simple. I was too connected to Michael Sutherland. Of course I would see him again. But I didn’t expect to see him so soon, or for him to seem so interested.
He’s persistent. Kind. Romantic. I fooled myself into believing a few more nights wouldn’t hurt. I liked his command in the bedroom and enjoyed the results. It wasn’t more.
Except that he was more. Better than anyone I’d ever met before. Someone I wasn’t sure I could live without.
*Burn is the second book in the Sutherland Scandals trilogy, a standalone trilogy set inside the Tease Series. It can be read alone and contains a happily ever after.

Brilliant
This series never disappoints and burn is no exception. In book three: Tempt, we met Allison’s love interest, Theo. In Burn, it’s Michael, his older brothers turn to meet the woman of his dreams, Ava. She’s a talented architect that works with Allison and they first meet at his sister Nicole’s wedding. After an unbelievable night of passion they don’t think they will see each other again, until a work project finds them working alongside Allison and Elizabeth, renovating Adam’s family plantation in Calhoun Beach. They have both had bad relationships in the past that have left scars that up until now have been irreparable, but together their tumultuous relationship helps them both to heal. It’s great to catch up with characters from the other books and the way they all interact throughout the series further strengthens all of the books storylines. They can be read as standalone but you’d do both yourself and the series a disservice by not reading them in order. Cannot wait for book five: Dirty Sins.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Good
I normally detest novellas, but I enjoyed reading this one. It didn‘t feel like a novella, more like a book. It was a nice rounded story, how Michael and Ava got together .
