Emotional and Sexy
As is the case in this series we have another story that will tug at your heart strings. The whole series is based on a hockey team rebuilding following a fatal plane crash. Book 8 sees Camden Poe, one of The Lucky Three who was not on the plane befriending Danica Brandt, who became a hockey widow after the crash. As their friendship flourishes into ‘more’ so does the guilt, and even though both Danica and Camden can accept ‘more’, Camden is afraid to out their relationship, thinking too much about what others may think. There’s also Danica’s adorable 9 year old son to consider”. In fact I’ve got to say that Travis very nearly made the story for me, he was just so cute and a future hockey star I’m sure. The story, though it pulled at my heartstrings, was very much a feel good romance. The characters throughout were perfect. I’m familiar enough with the team now to be able to empathise with each and every one of them. Another firm favourite for me in this sexy, emotional, hockey romance series. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
