Great start to a new series.
Crash Into You is the first book in the ‘Dare With Me’ series by J.H. Croix, it’s also my first read from this author. I love discovering new to me authors and I’m happy to say, Ms. Croix has been added to my ever-growing to-go lists of authors.
It was a great start to a new series, the main characters were well fleshed out and had some serious baggage to deal with.
Daphne especially has a lot going on, in her head and her life. She needs a break and decides to hit the Alaskan wilderness in search of it.
Flynn is an ex-airforce pilot who’s returned home to run his parents’ company Walker Adventures. Sparks fly from this first meeting and they share a strong attraction that only grows as time goes on. This was a sexy, but sweet, slightly angsty and slow-burning story, one you’ll want to savor as you and the characters get to know each other, and all the secondary members of the tale too. I’m already looking forward to the next installment.
