A gripping romantic thriller
Crystal Skies is the third book in the Stormcloud Station Series set in North Queensland, Australia. Each book in the series is stand-alone and without a cliffhanger.
Guests stay at the Stormcloud Station luxury eco resort for rest and relaxation, it seems that life frequently becomes spectacularly dangerous for those working at the resort. In the past there were floods followed by a murder. A guest attacks his wife and takes his revenge out on two people by shooting down their helicopter. A psychopath with an automatic rifle is intent on murder. And I thought the wild life in Australia was a danger to life.
Julie moved to Queensland from Brisbane to escape a stalker, she's settled and happily working at her father's eco resort, Stormcloud Station. Julie's stalker has discovered where she now lives and followed her to Queensland, he's somewhere nearby and making menacing phone calls to her and threatening her family. After a family meeting, her father decides to employ a bodyguard to protect Julie. The bodyguard turns out to be Aaron, her long lost boyfriend who, many years ago, walked out of her life without warning.
For Aaron to protect Julie they have to work side by side all the time, but can she trust him again after his desertion twelve years ago.
A compelling novel complete with the dust and atmosphere of a working cattle station, plus a nerve wracking chase out in the bush.
