Publisher Description
One enchanted Christmas. One guarded earl. One love too precious to surrender to distance.
When Serendipity Shaw travels from New York to England for the holiday season, she expects a charming winter visit filled with festive traditions, family friends, and the novelty of an English country house at Christmas. She does not expect Wesley Jackson, Earl of Dayton—a grave, self-contained nobleman who has built his life on order, duty, and the careful avoidance of joy.
Serendipity is everything Wesley is not: bright, warm, spirited, and gloriously alive. She brings music where he expects silence, laughter where he has long settled for quiet, and before long awakens in him something he never meant to want—a life shared with her.
But Christmas cannot last forever.
As Twelfth Night approaches and Serendipity’s return to America draws near, their growing love is tested by time, distance, and the painful reality that affection does not erase oceans. Yet neither is willing to let go of something so rare, so hard won, and so deeply felt.
Rich with holiday atmosphere, emotional tenderness, and Victorian charm, this heartwarming historical romance novella is a story of longing, devotion, and the courage it takes to choose love—even when the whole world stands between you.

A fun quick read
This is a fun, quick read. It fits nicely into the series and the Christmas celebrations are fun to see. I liked the insight into the festivities.
It was nice to see everyday moments in the lives of some familiar characters. It was also nice to meet Serendipity and Wesley. Seeing their relationship develop is really sweet.
I hope we see more of the characters in future books.
