About the author
Kerry Barnes, born in 1964, grew up on a council estate in South-East London. Pushed by her parents to become a doctor, she entered the world of science and became a microbiologist. After studying law and pharmaceuticals, her career turned to medicine. Having dyslexia didn’t deter her from her passion for writing. She began writing when her daughter was born thirty years ago. Once her children had grown up she moved to the Kent coast and now writes full time.
I bought this book as it was reduced and I'd never read anything by Kerry Barnes before. The book was fast paced, well written and with plenty of twists and turns I didn't see coming. I'm aware a lot of people say this in reviews but usually I'm disappointed as I work the plot out long before a book is ended. With this book I had no idea how it would end or who had actually done what. I was absolutely stunned by the end of the book and really recommend it to others. You certainly won't be disappointed. I only gave it 4 stars as I found the ending rather rushed.
Throughly enjoyed this book. Will definitely be reading more of Kerry Barnes.
