Good story line... couldn’t stand the lead character

The story line to this book is really good; reminded me a little of Cluedo. All in all a good book which I couldn’t put down and enjoyed the ending. Think the writer possibly didn’t play up to the main character’s personality which is expected from a thriller. Didn’t relate to her at all and found myself telling her to shut up ( in my head obviously! ) She was just so whiney and ‘mumsie’.
