FROM THE AUTHOR OF CONTACTS...
Xavier Ireland is a radio DJ who by night listens to the hopes, fears and regrets of sleepless Londoners and by day keeps himself very much to himself - until he is brought into the light by a one-of-a-kind cleaning lady and forced to confront his own biggest regret. This is a tale of love, loss, Scrabble and six degrees of separation, asking big questions about life and death, strangers and friends, heartache and comfort, and whether the choices we don't make affect us just as powerfully as those we do.
Customer Reviews
Very thought provoking
Worth a read, quite clever and thought provoking.

This book is why I wouldn't want to resolve past issues nor ever believe happiness isn't fleeting. It greatly irritates you by the end after pages of simple yet over descriptive writing describing insignificant London surroundings as an average man with an above average job works out his "issues." Once it gets going it is an ok read but does leave you with an unresolved future after painstakingly resolving a past which he just ran away from. Lessons to take away--- none. Entertainment value, average.

With a few twists and turns this is good read. Heart stopping and written to make you wonder how on earth someone can get themselves in such tight spots... Consequences of your actions is a theme running through... Make you think, makes you laugh, makes you think some more. Yes, a good read.
