A great follow on!
With a slight pause after reading part one of Elysium, I was happily catapulted back into this story which is a direct follow on. The characters are becoming extremely familiar now (a credit to the writing) and I am eager to jump into part three, although appreciate there may be a little wait.
Good things come to those who wait, and with the story being fantastic so far, I will be most pleased when the tale continues.
Science fiction is the genre I normally read, but on account of the authors skill in imaginative writing I will happily download and pay for the fantasy novel he is releasing after this series.

Excellent follow up. Better than part one.
I began reading this a little disappointed that we were moving away from Mortehoe -I'd really fallen in love with the place in part one. But I didn't have long to wait before the story returned.
I much preferred part two - there was a gritty realism to the second part that really made the world come to life, and the new characters introduced are believable, suitably messed up, and conflicting.
The questions of the first part are being answered, which is good as that was my only gripe with the first one. Dr. Camberwell's broadcast is answered in the most brilliant and infuriating ending I've read in a long time. I simply can't wait for part three!
