"Probably the best book ever written on football violence" - Daily Mail

The Shocking Truth Behind Football Violence

Everywhere We Go gives the most remarkable and frightening insight into the behaviour of the football thug. Written by two people who know the world of the hooligan from the inside, this book features many first-hand accounts of incidents, from both perpetrators and victims, that make chilling reading.

It builds up to provide the most comprehensive look behind the matchday madness that has yet been published, explores:

- The changing face of football violence

- Who gets involved - and why

- How the 'firms' operate, both home and away

- The role of 'scouts' and 'spotters' in planning violence

- The football establishment - and how they can help solve the problem

- The involvement of the far right in football and the issue of racism

Interesting

If you love football, you will love this book. Interesting read, well researched.

My Opinion

Obviously don't expect everyone to agree but didn't particularly enjoy this read.

The authors came off as hypocritical, biased and slightly racist wannabe's. Just my two cents I guess.

The book was littered with stories sent in by unintelligent louts who bragged about obviously exaggerated fights and scuffles. All puffing out their chests and blowing nothing but southern twang.

"Naughty little c*nt. Saucy buncha' blah blah blah oi oi"

Believe me, I've enjoyed some of Dougie's work before. I gave a nice review to 'The Crew' - and this book was fairly well written and researched from experience and the heart (I'm sure).

The authors roles as impartial observers were just flawed and it was riddled with contradictory statements about everything from certain teams, to the police and weapons.

Obviously these guys have a strong readership and fan base though, so good on them and they seem like nice enough guys, just thought I'd give my opinion.

Interesting in places, contradictory in others

Just finished reading.
I started off really enjoying this book but failed to read all of the final chapter in depth as I simply lost interest. The authors seemed to lose their way with a rant that seemed to go on making random points without bringing it all together. Having the book written by two people also didn't help the flow in places.
Overall though I have enjoyed books by the same author, this particular one wasnt quite at the same level. Some of it came off as whining and contradictory, which I found disappointing! Still it is interesting- particularly the stories submitted by other people.
