An intense second book
My god I think I spent most of time crying but what a ride the second book was. Loved every minute and I couldn’t put it down. So much I didn’t expect. The book grew as the characters did. Strong beautiful and definitely memorable!
Just kind of meh.
After a while the chapters became repetitive - mostly the protagonist preaching about new life lessons after another betrayal. I also can’t understand why the first book creates an intense connection between two important main characters and the reader, for them to not be present during the second book, only for them to be replaced by another oddly shaped forbidden enemies to lovers storyline with a new unfamiliar character we know nothing about. Lots of potential but couldn’t finish reading.
