About the author
Holly Smale is the author of the award-winning, bestselling Geek Girl series. She was unexpectedly spotted by a top London modelling agency at the age of fifteen and spent the following two years falling over on catwalks, going bright red and breaking things she couldn’t afford to replace. By the time Holly had graduated from Bristol University with a BA in English Literature and an MA in Shakespeare she had given up modelling and set herself on the path to becoming a writer.

Geek Girl series by Holly Smale
I got this book for my 10th birthday as a birthday present off my mum and dad. At first I didn't know what to think of it but I started to read it anyway. As soon as I had read the first chapter I LOVED the book and couldn't stop reading. I finished the first book in around 5 days. From then on I read the whole series from book 1 to 5 ( plus the 3 extra books) and loved every single one. I thought the story line was unique and imaginative and helped you understand what some people have to through. That no-ones life is perfect! I am now 12 and I have just read the last book of the series - Forever Geek. It is a heartwarming story that shows the love between family and friends, and that they will always be there for you. It teaches you many lessons of life.
I thought all of the geek girl books were amazing and I highly recommend you read them all!
