No one is ever happy to see Grace Salmon.
As a funeral arranger, she’s responsible for steering strangers through the hardest day of their lives. It’s not a task many would want – but, for Grace, giving people the chance to say a proper goodbye to the ones they love is the most important job in the world.
From the flowers in the church to the drinks served at the wake,Grace knows it’s the personal touches that count – and it’s amazing what you can find out about someone from their grieving relatives … or their Facebook page. But when she accidentally finds out too much about someone who’s died, Grace is finally forced to step out of the shadows… and start living.

Amazing.
As a Funeral Director, I resonated with this book on such a deep level (apart from becoming involved with a client) but the fact that we all try so hard to make every single funeral we arrange and conduct perfect. And each and every one of us also has an understanding of the grief you are going through, we just don’t talk about our own as it’s not about us or our journey with grief but about yours. I wish there was a follow up to this, I imagine a love story exists for Callum and Grace somewhere in the authors mind…..
Perfectly Relatable
I just loved this. It took me a while to get into but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. The highs, the lows. The shocks and twists along the way - it was definitely an emotional roller coaster! I think there’s something for all to relate to in this perfectly written novel about a topic no one really talks about. Thank you Katy Collins!
