We finally get our happily ever after.....
Remington "Remy" Sawyer
For most of my life I've been the person who lived with the hand he was dealt. Not much in my life have I had a say in. Birthed by parents I don't talk to, I was raised by the only person who ever cared for me - my brother, Cash. Under his guidance, I've become the person I am today.
Productive member of society, and patched brother in the Heaven Hill MC.
I don't want for anything, other than Tatum Walker.
We had a shot, and we both screwed it up......massively.
Tatum "Tate" Walker
Being the daughter of the President of the Heaven Hill MC is a burden, but one I'll face every day with pride. It's hard for me to know what people like me for. Is it my personality, my looks, or are they trying to get close to the Club? There's one person I've never doubted.
Remington Sawyer.
A year ago we had one night of almost passion - that ended with me walking away in tears - and him walking away in anger.
Some time away from each other has given us perspective. Now, instead of the storm of chaos that was our one attempt at a relationship, we're both ready for calm.
And nothing, they say, is as calm - as the eye of a Hurricane.

An unforgettable, life altering love story
Oh be still my heart. I’ve been a Laramie fan since I had the pleasure of discover her Moonshine Task Force series, however I went I to Hurricane with some trepidation as sometimes MCs are too dark and make me uncomfortable. However, I was certainly not disappointed with this book.
I’ve been in such a Book funk lately and I think Laramie has just cured me. This book is such stunningly beautiful read, and an exploration in what family really means, that blood isn’t always family and family isn’t exclusively blood, sometime you find your place when you least expect it. It was magical.
This is a second chance, bildungsroman style romance that explores forgiveness, maturity and how love can be worth taking a chance on someone.
Tate is an eighteen year old young woman, raised in the Heaven Hill MC with her father as the pres. She’s the club princess, many seeing her as a daughter or little sister, making her incredibly sheltered and protected, and in some ways she has been spoilt by them. She’s stubborn, independent and hot headed but she also has this gentle vulnerability, she’s so used to outsiders only being interested in her for who her father is that she’s made sure to shelter her heart from everyone that could hurt her. Especially Remy, and especially after that night everything changed for them.
I adored Tate so much, she’s got her faults, as does everyone and she’s made some big mistakes in her life, especially where Remy is concerned but truly she’s a beautiful person with such a big, pure, kind heart. She also learnt a lot in their year apart, about herself, about growing up and most of all about love and the importance of patience.
And Remy? I don’t even know where to begin to explain the love I feel for this soft hearted biker. Remy is kind, he’s devoted to his club and the only thing that has or will ever be a bigger priority to him is Tate. I may actually be in love with him (sorry Tate, don’t fight me). He’s just he’s wow, I love him. He’s got this unbreakable inner strength that was born from his horrific childhood and developed through the love he found with his true family in the MC. He’s such a beautiful soul, surrounded by equally caring, beautiful people and I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of the Heaven Hill books because oh my gosh do I need more in my life.
