Lake howling book 4 - loved it:-)
I had been impatiently waiting for this story ever since I read the first three books in this series in one weekend.
The author has created a lovely town where the characters have depth and bonds. There is a real sense of community and it's so nice to catch up with all the characters throughout each story.
This story centres on Katie and cubby. Katie had been working as a police officer in LA when she was involved in a shooting incident. Cubby rescues her from a bar where she is trying to get over the death of her friends. A lot of issues are explored in this book such as alcoholism, fear, family relationships and dynamics. It is lovely to read as the characters find their way to each other.
There are so many characters who I really hope will get their own story, long may the lake howling series continue.
