Kill for love
A slower pace to Emily’s investigations and still she managed to get herself in trouble. A lovely end to the series exactly befitting what Emily started in book 1.I’ve really enjoyed reading Emily’s escapades
Another great thriller in the Emily Swanson series
I have been following Emily Swanson since the very first book and with Kill for Love, the latest in the series, Malcolm Richards has once again created a clever, dramatic, twisty thriller.
The story unfolds in London and the West Country against a background of almost unremitting rain, which is surely a metaphor for the darkness in the soul of the murderous protagonist. The book begins with a brutal killing, but it becomes clear as the mystery unravels that the murderer is merely a pawn in someone else’s vicious game.
As she searches for the solution, Emily’s professional life and personal relationships are in danger of being derailed and her own life is threatened. There were moments throughout the book when my heart was in my mouth, wondering whether Emily was going to make it through and it was very satisfying that the end of the book was also a new beginning.
Loved Kill for Love
Another brilliant installment in this underrated series. I hear this might be the last one. Say it ain't so!
