Scarred by childhood trauma that drives her to help innocents in need, Atlee’s struggle to overcome her past is as important to the plot as her drive to locate a missing Grand Canyon camper whose disappearance could threaten national security. She’s aided in both pursuits by her assistant, Carol; the emotional depth of their growing closeness adds another intriguing layer to Baldacci’s complex, engrossing story. Actress Brittany Pressley shoulders both women’s roles skilfully, while her co-narrator Kyf Brewer gives supporting characters the proper menace.

I like the character of Attlee Pine, along with a couple more who will likely feature in the sequels which I look forward to reading

Not a great book
It must be hard for a top author to come up with new storylines, and it shows with this book. The story really isn’t believable and there are long passages that are little more than padding.
