Charming and sweet story.
Love Like Her is the third book in the ‘Against All Odds’ series by Claudia Burgoa.
We first met Eros Brassard in his sister Persy’s story ( ) and garnered more tidbits in Nyx’s. He seemed like a guy who had a lot going on- and he did, but there was one constant in his life.
Liv.
Eros and Liv found each other years ago when their flights were cancelled during a snowstorm. Their attraction was instant and long lasting. They shared a few days together, but afterwards, what should have been a burgeoning romance was thrown away as they lived too far apart. Liv was just starting college and Eros was on the bring of a new career.
The time just wasn’t right.
It never seemed to be the right time, but they continued to serendipitously meet every few months, or years. They’d spend an afternoon, a day or even a few weeks together, but they never gelled. Something always tore them apart.
This is a slow-burning story, but the heat level is high from the outset. Liv and Eros are meant to be, but fate is being a fickle meddler.
