Absolutely Amazing, Emotional and Addictive Read
This is book one in The Donovans : Sweetbriar Ridge series and it is Jade and Levi’s story and what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Jade is a single mom to her son Silas who is her whole world and now she is due to open her shop called Books and Beans and she needs to make a success of it because it was now hers and Silas future at stake so she was a bit nervous and had to have faith that it would all work out. Levi had a great job with Creative Alexander, a girlfriend who worked away a lot and a nice place to live so imagine his surprise when he is called into a meeting only to be fired because his girlfriend was actually married which he didn’t know about so now he needs to get another job but finds out it is not easy because he had been blacklisted for something that wasn’t his fault so now he is going home to Sweetbriar Ridge so that he can regroup and decide what to do next. When Jade and Levi met the attraction and chemistry was instant, intense and so hot that even when they were not in the same room they couldn’t stop thinking about each other but Levi is not staying in town and Jade had her son Silas to think about and didn’t need any more complications than she already had especially with Silas fathers family who were making her life so difficult but Jade and Levi were unable to stay away from each other and ended up with a friends with benefits but what happens when feelings start to get involved and will it all end in heartbreak, well you will have to read this book to find out. Will Levi find out that sometimes it is not just the place but the people in it that you fall in love with and you are exactly where you were always meant and supposed to be. Wow I absolutely loved Jade and Levi together and the way he was with Silas was a beautiful thing to see and also get ready for a journey of emotions and finding your true calling and place in life and regardless of what happens love will always find a way showing you that happiness and a future is just around the corner if you look and work hard enough. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
