A book for those interested in applying what they learn
This is an incredibly well honed presentation of Buddha’s teachings, written from the point of view of the ‘Lamrim’, a presentation known for it’s combination of scholarly precision and real world application. And that is what we find here. A concise, accurate and profound presentation, made readable by it’s grounding in real world experience. This isn’t a book which ‘lends’ from Buddhism, or is ‘sympathetic’ to it; this is the real deal. Buddhism for those who wish to engage in authentic practice in modern life, accommodating curious but sincere beginners, all the way up to the seasoned and committed practitioner, there is something here to benefit anyone who actually wishes to jake real change in their mind, Buddhist and non-Buddhist. Beautiful.
