Publisher Description
Five nights. Two adversaries. One bed in their hotel room…
I’m at the height of my athletic career. Yet my arrogant brother is always trying to recruit me into the family business: a global security company so secretive that I don’t even know its name.
Pass, thanks. I don’t need a summer job.
But the jerk ambushes me with a damsel in distress. That damsel is Alex, the competitive, sassy girl I knew when we were kids. Now she’s a drop-dead gorgeous woman in deep trouble.
So guess who’s on a flight to Hawaii?
It’s going to be a long week in paradise. My job is keeping Alex safe, while her job is torturing me with her tiny bikinis. Or maybe we’re torturing each other. It’s all snark and flirting until the threat against Alex gets serious. And this jock must become her major league protector.
Moonlighter is a stand-alone novel. No cliffhangers, no prior experience necessary. Expect: a growly hero, a lady boss with no time for his attitude, and a war of wills and hormones. Bonus: hunk wearing a baby in a sling.

I seriously enjoyed this one! My new favourite!
After devouring MOONLIGHTER, I honestly don’t know whether it’s Alex or Eric I have the biggest crush on. Take Alex, she’s an incredibly successful computer programmer and a leader of industry. Her newest innovation has garnered some unwanted attention and with it attempts of sabotage. Although a huge problem in itself, she actually has a more pressing matter at hand, which she needs dealt with swiftly and discreetly.
Discreet is the motto of Eric Bayer’s family run security company. It’s so discreet intact, it doesn’t have a name. Although Eric is more than happy with his illustrious hockey career he’s been roped in by father and brother to help out on Alex’s case.
There’s history with Alex and Eric. They where thick as thieves in childhood but more recently an awkward brush off is the bone of contention that needs to be picked. Eric’s role of bodyguard has them living and working closely together and it’s not long before their history and familiarity develops into intimacy.
Much like Pavlov’s classical conditioning, the mere mention of Eric’s name causes me to salivate. He’s assertive and playful, but it’s his deep rooted caring nature that has me gaga over the man. MOONLIGHTER is a story that keeps on giving. There’s a sizzlingly romance, action filled scenes along with some heartfelt touching moments.
I may sound like a broken record when it comes to Sarina but, I seriously enjoyed this one! My new favorite!
A little more
Another well written story which included a who done it, a romance, some hockey and characters from other books. There was a lot going on making it an irresistible read. I found the second half of the book difficult to put down. It lost a star as I felt one of the storylines needed more details. However what I would say is to try and read the books in order although it makes a reasonable stand alone.
