Another unputdownable masterpiece
Fast moving and a comlex web of threads expertly drawn together. More police procedural than horror, but as a UK resident it is the glimpses of small town Americana that bring me back to Stephen King.
Formulaic
I have read Stephen King since Carrie was published and this is the first time I’ve felt a crushing disappointment. This was just common detective formula - the reading equivalent of a packet of crisps. It’s barely ok.
