Nine Dragons
Another winner from the most readable of thriller writers - centred around some familiar characters all strung together by another enthralling storyline. A nice tee up for The Reversal...
I like it but …
The end felt like someone rushed him to finish the book as fast as he could. It didn’t satisfy me and I‘m annoyed now!! Also, without spoiling things, Eleanor deserved more. I know she’s a weird side character but she’s been there for more than 13 years! But maybe it just goes to show how unspectacular someone’s parting can be. Why did ferras have to go out like this as well? I‘m not sure but for that Harry doesn’t like coincidences or doesn’t believe in them, this book was screaming coincidence and it was a bit too much. Not a typical Bosch but here’s to the next one!
Not his best
Not his best work, but still enjoyable. The later part of the book feels rushed, in particular the last chapter. However there is enough to enjoy and make reader look forward to the next one.
