INTRODUCTION Encouraging participation in educations that are provided by the universal welfare state (9) and in the labor market through all years as the main road to upward socioeconomic mobility, the very aim of the integration policy in Denmark has been to create more proper correspondence between educational merits of immigrants and their socioeconomic records. Accordingly the pattern of relationship between educational merits and labor market performances and life chances among natives has been used as the standard, the normal and the desired distribution.
