On the hunt

Mr Totten lovely book I enjoyed reading it, mostly knowing how people of my origin are being treated.I have noticed most of this written piece is to show the nature of the Iraqi people in general. Yes they are scared to admit to an American soldier they know Haji Jawad but I feel it is far too biased towards the American soldiers. I am sure if you or I were in that position we would do exactly the same. I rate it as a 3 out of 5, mainly because till today I have not seen a book written about Iraq that shows the real differences and the political along with religious differences that have put the nation of Iraq were it is today. I think people should be told what Iraq really is about. Why is it frowned upon by it's neighbours? What political differences there are? What drove Iraq and it's people to were it is today? Everyone knows what America, Iran and Saudi are doing in Iraq. I am a British Iraqi I don't know much about my country but I want people to know that 10-15 years ago as I grew up in London my family raised me to believe that we are all humans and need to get along with each other not to mention Sunni or Shia but to accept everyone, mainly the fact we marry Sunnis and Shia's. This is not the real problem they get along in Iraq but they are encouraged by our neighbours who are solely looking for their interest, eg. Iran invading our land and waters, Turkey controlling the water supply coming from the north which has put a stop to farming in the south, Saudi paying North Africans to cause unrest in our cities and our shrines Samarah guarded heavily by Sunnis for centuries and decades and them blown up into thin air. Kuwait, they get the first chance to come in and steal our heritage from our museums and not accepting apologies from our current government because of the invasion of the previous regime. The biggest and most important America taking oil for a fraction of the Market price. These are things that you may already know but how much better would you or any other author feel if you were to write a book or an article to show the truth and in an unbiased way. I love my country of origin as much as I love the UK but please someone write the truth. This is the FIRST civilisation we are reading about and talking about surely it accounts for something!!!
