If you’re looking for a weekend read or a delightful way to pass a rainy day, Dani Atkins’ tearjerker of a novel is just the ticket. We were immediately hooked on this story of two women with a complicated, unhappy history who are thrust back together under unusually tragic circumstances. Atkins—the author of the terrific Fractured—is a wizard of storytelling, building up the suspense around Charlotte and Ally’s animosity and piercing our hearts with three grand love stories. Her two female protagonists are vividly drawn and utterly captivating.

Brilliant!!
At first I was a bit confused but quickly grasped the story & then I was hooked. Love the characters, the style of writing & although time went to & fro in the story it was easy to piece together. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes I guessed what was going to happen next, but not always. Get you tissues ready. I’ll be recommending this to all my friends.

Heartbreaking
Brilliantly written book. It’s was so emotional I couldn’t stop sobbing and I can’t stop thinking about it.
