Hard to work through
So far in the middle of book, but I find it very hard to read. It looks like a diary of a teenager, because of the way it’s written “we went shopping, but then it was raining so we waited at home watching tv until rain stopped, then we went for sushi and gave hostess our name” it just seems so impersonal, rather than real buildups and dialogues between characters. Plus being a reader from Europe some of the phrases were hard to understand.
Annoying
I found this book really difficult to finish. The main character Lexi is so annoying. I actually felt sorry for Jake whilst reading this. Her 2nd heartbreak seemed over exaggerated and felt like she was forcing Jake with an ultimatum. The whole book was predictable and long winded.
