An inspirational account of how a household name brand came to be.
Howard Schultz's begginings were humble to say the least. Growing up in the lower class "Projects" with a father who he saw as having achieved little in his life, coupled with a well-nourished need to be something greater than "average", Schultz was seemingly destined to lead an atypical life. The first in his family to have attended University, whilst at work one day Schultz stumbled upon a small coffee company in Seattle that he just had to go and investigate. That company, under Schultz's eventual leadership, became the brand we know it to be today. The journey is as riveting and inspirational as it is informative and I for one have been thoroughly enriched by it's principles of discussion.
