Publisher Description

Days after winning OASIS founder James Halliday's contest, Wade Watts makes a discovery that changes everything.

Hidden within Halliday's vaults, waiting for his heir to find it, lies a technological advancement that will once again change the world and make the OASIS a thousand times more wondrous - and addictive - than even Wade dreamed possible.

With it comes a new riddle, and a new quest: a last Easter egg from Halliday, hinting at a mysterious prize.

And an unexpected, impossibly powerful, and dangerous new rival awaits, one who'll kill millions to get what he wants.

Wade's life and the future of the OASIS are again at stake, but this time the fate of humanity also hangs in the balance.

Lovingly nostalgic and wildly original as only Ernest Cline could conceive it, Ready Player Two takes us on another imaginative, fun, action-packed adventure through his beloved virtual universe, and jolts us thrillingly into the future once again.

A slow burner

Not as good as the first book, but once the book gets going, it’s an enjoyable read.

Better than Ready Player One!!!

Ready Player One was great! (Even though I found it be nothing like the movie really!?!)
It was a real page turner and the ending didn’t dissapoint either!
So when I found out there was a sequal… I instantly bought it and started to immerse myself in the digital world of Wade Watts! And was blown away when I found that it started off immediately from where Player One finished!!
A brilliant concept!
A glimpse into the future?!?!
Great chatacters!!
So so many memories of my 80’s childhood brought back to me with all the referencing to that wonderful passage of time that those of us fortunate enough to have been born in the 60’s & 70’s got to experience for real!!!
I was never really into D&D,or computers for that matter, but it was such a magical story played out over two brilliant books… I simply couldn’t stop reading them!
Amazing!!!
