Stories in the Wicked Quickies series are "Wicked" (Adjective: 1. 'disgustingly unpleasant': 'VILE'; or 2. 'great', 'cool', 'splendid': 'WONDERFUL'). Which definition you wish to apply to these stories will be up to you. On the other hand, each story consists of 1000 words or less and can be read in approximately five minutes, so I believe most readers will agree they can be accurately described as "Quickies." Due to the brevity of the stories, in many cases the humorous adventure ends just before the "Climax", allowing the reader to enjoy supplying his or her own happy ending! Whatever ending you invent, I hope the details are thrillingly wicked!

Even though they rarely see each other around town, and have never touched each other, next door neighbors, Ruby and Earl, celebrate a small but thrilling ritual together every Friday night, after Ruby's husband has gone to work and Earl's elderly mother had gone to bed. Both participants anticipate and prepare for this ritual as though it was a religious ceremony, and for them, it is.
