Fabulous conclusion
Well the last of this trilogy simply didn't disappoint. I must point out though that its a rerelease so please check that you don't already own it. Throughout this series I've struggled to actually like Rogue because he's manipulating, downright aloof and yes he's the reason that Gwynn actually suffered so much when she stumbled into Fairie. Yet somehow this secretive alien character actually became dare I say almost humanized in this book which made for a fabulous conclusion.
Gwynn has without a doubt remained true to her curious, clever self and yet she's most certainly blossomed in this cruel, often crazy land. I love that she cares about others and somehow finds the time and energy to be there for them. Yet this story about an evil Queen hunting for half Fae babies had a glorious, twisted conclusion that brought so many loose ends together. Yes it's steamy and yes I absolutely hated the Fae frequently throughout this series but I thoroughly enjoyed this book with its solution and surprises . So in conclusion I have to say this is definitely a book that shows the Fae to be every bit as mercurial and tricky as I'd always imagined and a wonderful addition to this authors body of work.
