Salivating over Savage.
Finally, after much teasing hints and moments of clarity, we have the start of Rick Savage’s story. It’s filled with tension and darkness we’ve come to expect from Savage, but he’s got a sense of humour which he readily displays at times. He’s got a past that’s always haunted him.
Candace is the woman that Rick left behind eight years ago. He’s never forgotten her or forgiven himself for letting her go.
Candace did as Rick asked her to do. She moved on with her life and now she’s engaged to a politician, known as Honest Gabe, but is this man all that he appears to be.
When Savage crashes back into Candace’s world, he knew he’d fight to win her back. But, with secrets and lies between them and the people surrounding them, can he? Does Candace even want him to? She’s a strong woman and isn’t going to just fall into his arms, plus, she has a fiance now.
Savage Hunter is the first book in this trilogy and as with most of Lisa’s stories, it finishes with a cliffhanger, hopefully we won’t have too long a wait for part 2.
