Publisher Description
Book 6.5 in the #1 bestselling Wishes Series
'If you spend too long in a small town, you’ll eventually fade away. And on the eve of my twenty-fifth birthday, I realised that I was practically invisible.'
After spending a lifetime following her domineering sister’s glitzy ways, Lily Tate is finally ready to step out on her own.
Breaking away from Jasmine is difficult, but ditching the ugly reputation she’s gained after years of sketchy behaviour is even harder.
Thankfully, she’s not going it alone.
After turning her back on her old life, Lily gains a brand new support system – namely a reluctant new best friend and a boy who might be important.
With their encouragement, there’s every chance that the real Lily Tate might step forward.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
We’re big fans of GJ Walker-Smith’s down-to-earth new adult novels. In this story, former mean girl Lily Tate is determined to distance herself from bad influences and make amends…but unfortunately not everyone’s ready to forgive and forget. Newcomer Noah Holt has never met the old Lily, though, and he's determined to help her turn her life around and win her heart in the process. With its small-town cast of quirky characters, Shadow Lily goes beyond romance to explore the importance of female friendships and the struggle to cut off toxic relationships.
Customer Reviews
Wonderful
This series is fantastic
Another fab tale
Loved this tale.
Lilly had always been following her sister jasmine's domineering ways.
This tale allows Lily to shine on her own.
As always an amazing story, showing Lilly isn't as mean as her sister.
New beginnings
What a delightful treat Shadow Lily was. Once again GJ Walker Smith impressed with her word and humour. In the main, the story is of Charli and her childhood nemesis Lily Tate coming together again as adults and forming the beginnings of a surprise, sweet friendship. We are treated to snippets of our favourite characters and are introduced to a couple of intriguing new ones, not forgetting a couple of kids. A wonderful addition to the Wishes Series - bravo!
