What a brilliant start to this new multi-author series. Lainey Davis brings her quirky humor to this first book in spades. The farm that their grandfather left them is about to go into foreclosure and the Bedd siblings can’t agree on anything, especially not how to get themselves out of debt. Along comes a representative from the bank to try to help them out before the notices go up. Only problem is, she’s Ethan’s ex girlfriend. This is a second chance romance with laugh out loud moments, especially those involving a certain sheep, but also highlights problems both in the farming community and also living with a debilitating disease. Both of these subjects are dealt with, with both sympathy and humour. Ethan and Lia are great characters and their chemistry is there right from the start. Now I just have to wait patiently for the next book in the series.
