I couldn’t finish it
There is only very few books I did not finish in my life. Most often even if the book is quite hard going with no connection I hope it will improve and just finish it. But I had to give up on this one. I got to page 247 of 290 something and actually put it down disgusted. The writing wasn’t great from beginning, it is stilled, with lots of flowery words but no feeling. The main character is really quite unlikable. The story line is really quite unbeliavable. Laughable at points.
