A Harry Bosch short story from bestselling crime writer Michael Connelly. Also includes an extract from The Gods of Guilt. BOSCH TV STARTS FEBRUARY 2015!
When the department's sorter takes a call from an anonymous witness to a cold case murder, she takes it straight to Harry Bosch who finds the accused in San Quentin. He's locked away for a different murder but only a few months away from a parole hearing which is likely to see him walking free. New methods find DNA on the murder weapon but having sat in an archive for 20 years, it's not strong enough to take to court. To keep him behind bars, Bosch has no choice but to find the witness who doesn't want to be found.

I’ve read most of Connelly’s books and they have mostly been very good. The plot started well and then fell to pieces with an unbelievable coincidence, it then abruptly finished after a few pages. I cannot think this was the end of the book. Why I have been charged 99p for what I can only describe as a sample of this title with an excerpt of the Gods of Guilt tacked on the end I cannot fathom. If the book was in its entirety MC has authored a real turkey. Don’t bother with this you will be well disappointed.
As others have said, very short! I'm very disappointed with this.
Absolute rubbish. Bought the book, supposed to be over 100 pages long. Actual story is less than 40 pages. Very misleading.
