He saved your son's life.
Now he wants yours...
Tessa and Marcus went on holiday to save their marriage.
Instead they nearly lost their son.
In that fatal moment of inattention a stranger stepped in.
And now Dave Jepsom is in their lives.
They owe him - they know that - but he seems to want everything. He's on the streets they walk down. He's at the office where they work. He's knocking at their front door...
And he's exposing secrets they would do anything to hide.
If they could just go back. Not make that one terrible mistake.
But it's never how it starts that matters. It's always how it ends.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Sabine Durrant’s award-winning Lie With Me had us hooked in 2016. Its gripping successor features another insidious outsider we quickly became obsessed with. We’re introduced to a young family who have their lives changed forever when a stranger saves their son on the beach. Dave Jepsom is a chilling, satisfyingly complex character and his arrival sets Marcus and Tessa’s relationship ablaze, with a tangled web of secrets soon revealing themselves. Durrant’s masterful storytelling—so steady and assured—doesn’t release its grip until the very last page. Another outright classic.

Had potential but failed ending
Wanted to love this book. Kept hoping it would get better. Guessed the ending and it left so many questions. If you’re bored worth a read but can’t see it will ever be a favourite.
