Publisher Description
We’re destined to destroy each other, but we’re going to finish this game, no matter how long or what it takes.
In my line of business, every day dawns with the smell of death in the air. But it’s not a bullet that’s going to slay me. It’s Sabella, the woman who was promised to me, the woman who betrayed me.
I hate and want her in equal measure, an agonizing situation of my own making. We’re heading down a path of destruction, but there’s no turning back. At the first chance she gets, she’ll stab me in the back again. She’s a dangerous risk and a threat to my family. If I were wise, I’d eliminate that risk and leave her funeral to the sharks. I must be an idiot, because I’m going to finish what I started, no matter the cost.
Note: Tears Like Acid is the 3rd book in the Corsican Crime Lord series. Love Like Poison (Book 1) and Hate Like Honey (Book 2) must be read first. Sabella and Angelo's story concludes in Kisses Like Rain (Book 4).

Fantastic Read
This series gets better with each book, Sebella and Angelo deep down really love each other if only they would go with their hearts and not wanting redemption for their pasts. Sebella sometimes comes over as being submissive but is this just a game she is playing gaining Angelos trust? She has been banished from the main house but Angelo can’t bring himself to let her live in squalor like he said she would, she has quite a comfortable lifestyle with Angelo spending more time with her. Sebella has secretly been escaping to visit the village, doing small jobs and making friends with those who dislike her husband, Angelos uncles are supposedly watching Sebella and reporting back to Angelo, but what is really there endgame, people I am sure not to be trusted!!! Family from his mothers side are now towing the line and forming strong bonds with Sebella bringing out her maternal side, with this in mind Angelo sets himself on a new mission, he knows where she keeps her contraceptives hidden, which could either bring them togetherness with Angelo realising Sebella was not responsible for his mother and sister’s deaths or will revenge ruin what could have been 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️I’m sure book four will bring everything together with some hidden surprises along the way. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was happy to provide.
