The Audition is a carnal tale of seduction, blackmail and BDSM. Aspiring actress Sandra James has no clue what she’s in for when she auditions for the role of a lifetime. Guaranteed the part by a handsome casting director, she naively accepts an invitation to a secondary audition. Sandra soon discovers it is merely a guise for something far more perverse.
Excerpt from The Audition:
Max’s lips brushed against my cheek, then the corner of my mouth. Finally, they reached my lips. I held my breath, waiting for the spark. It didn’t come. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe Max was not the man I thought him to be. Maybe he wasn’t as suave as I imagined him. Maybe…
His tongue slipped past my lips. Fireworks went off inside me. I forgot about Adam and Adeline. I forgot about Jenny. I forgot about the audition. All that now remained was Max and me. This tongue tentatively explored my mouth, coaxing mine into a sensuous dance. I teased him for a moment before giving in to his enticing offer.
Our tongues glided around the dance floor of our mouths with flawless perfection. We were no longer two individuals, we were one. Time stood still as we explored each other.
I don’t know how much time passed. It felt like a second and an eternity. All I know is that my brain suddenly came back online when Max’s hand slithered onto my left breast. Only a thin layer of fabric now stood between his palm and my flesh, but this escalation made me realize what was really happening. Jenny and her husband were not kissing, Max and I were.
I pulled away.
“I—I don’t think I can do this,” I stuttered.
I glanced sideways at Max and instantly knew he didn’t take my rejection personally. Adam and Adeline were not so understanding.
“If you want to make it in this town, you must learn to stay in character,” explained Adeline.
“No matter what happens,” added Adam. He seemed more angry than disappointed.
I nodded shyly, but remained unconvinced.
Max leaned toward me. For a second, I thought he would kiss me again, but his lips neared my ear instead of my mouth.
“Just think of it as Jenny doing these things, not you,” he whispered.
I was still reticent, but the thought of admitting defeat to my parents was far more terrifying than letting Max fondle me.
“All right,” I agreed. “Let’s keep going.”
“Let’s not,” said Adam. His voice was cold, emotionless. I feared my behavior had ruined my chances of landing the lead in his and Adeline’s film, but that wasn’t the case.
“We’ve been playing around with a new concept,” offered Adeline, her voice was void of anger, “but we cannot agree on whether or not it should be incorporated into the script. Would you mind acting it out for us?”
“Of course not,” I immediately replied, desperate to prove myself worthy of their consideration.
This brought a smile back to Adam’s lips.
“We’ve discussed the concept with Max,” explained Adeline. “All you have to do is follow his lead.”
“And never break character,” added Adam. “No matter what happens.”
I didn’t like the way he said that, but I couldn’t afford to displease him again. I nodded.
Adam and Adeline cuddled together and waited for Max and me to begin. I turned to him but waited for him to make the first move. I didn’t have to wait long.
He kissed me. Hard…
